I was fortunate to have the opporunity to meet and work with Armando for all the years he worked for LHW -- from Reservations Managers meetings in New York on an annual basis, followed by weekend educationals to our member hotels in Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Miami, Etc., followed by IRRRM meetings worldwide and, oh how much fun it was (NOT) with the training in Providence when reservations was outsourced to Pegasus. What a horror story that was. LOL On one particular occasion in Providence we all got together in Armando's room -- Armando, Giovanna, Colin and myself -- and because he always referred to me as "poof" everytime he called me on the phone I decided I was going to re-arrange his room, throw his cigarettes out the window. We laughed so much and he was always a good sport. Even though he was p'd off for awhile. Everytime he called on the phone and called me that name -- I called him "mandy" to get him going. Armando is definitely one of a kind and we shared so many great times and I will truly miss him and his special personality and our long-time friendship. Dick Moyer
